Exclam on move 2!
Facing The Sicilian? No problem. Play 1.e4 c5 2.f4! and get the healthy positions you want - without drowning in theory.This is NOT the Grand Prix Attack. The Accelerated Rossolimo is a new innovative move order that aims to get the opponent out of book quickly and create additional possibilities.
Playing 2.f4! throws up promising lines from both a theoretical as well as practical perspective - yet you always have the option of playing cool and calm chess.
✔️ Cool traps!
✔️ Forcing variations;
✔️ No heavy memorization needed;
✔️ Crystal clear video instruction;
✔️ Sharp positions - dangerous for Black;
✔️ BUT always the option to go for a "lazy man's repertoire".
IM Yuriy Krykun started playing this line after searching for something that could get him an advantage against the Sicilian. In modern chess, it is increasingly difficult to do so.
Playing the mainlines will take you hundreds of hours of work to reliably find any advantage against the Sicilian, such is the weight of theory available. And you will need to memorize a lot.
IM Krykun sidesteps that with 2.f4! so immediately you are playing Black on your terms.
I hope that this variation, which has a great balance of tactical traps and sharp lines as well as positionally complex and intriguing positions, will not only serve you well but also will make you a better player overall!

The Ukrainian International Master also reasoned that basing his repertoire around the Grand Prix would require a lot of memorization and many positions are too complicated. And that is when he started to analyse 1.e4 c5 2.f4!
His course is for players who are time-limited or players who recognize the opening isn't everything - you can't neglect other areas of your game.
So when the main lines don't give an edge, try something different!
