For The Chess Player Who Wants
To Take Up The Sicilian But
Doesn’t Know Where To Start
Here’s a starter kit which will give you a rocking introduction to the Sicilian, and arm you with dynamic but “easy to understand” strategies. All in just 16 core lines.
It’s based on
The Viktorious Kan Sicilian by
FIDE Master Viktor Neustroev, which has raked in 5-star review after 5-star review from students learning the Sicilian Defense for the first time.
Just a super-effective opening, well-explained! With this course, I tried to start learning the Sicilian Defense… and it was just a near-perfect course to start with. I like The Viktorious Kan Sicilan because of the relatively low theory and easy-to-understand plans.

And just like the full course, this
Short & Sweet will show you how to play…
The Most Flexible And
Club Player-Friendly Sicilian
The plan is simple:
We kick things off with
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3, then play
2...e6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 a6 to reach the Kan Sicilian. From here, you’ll control the light squares with your pawns, and the dark squares with your pieces…
Creating a flexible position that can neutralize any setup by White and bring the fight to them!
Here are a couple of ideas you’ll learn from inside:
👑 Against the Grand Prix Attack with an early f4-push, you’ll break through with your d-pawn… liquidate White’s center… and take over the initiative with active pieces.
👑 Against the Alapin, you’ll burden White with hanging pawns, and build a dark-squared blockade to fix the potential weaknesses.
👑 Against the dangerous 3.b3, you’ll cage-in White’s light-squared bishop — disrupting their development while your pieces rush to their ideal positions.
👑 Against the Delayed Wing Gambit with 3.b4, you’ll neutralize White’s kingside threats before they get serious by exchanging their key attacking piece.
👑 And against the space-grabbing Maroczy Bind, you’ll seize the dark squares left behind, and turn d4 into a fantastic outpost for your minor pieces.
Everything’s packed into
16 MoveTrainer variations and
60 minutes of video. Which means you can complete the course, and start
winning with the Kan Sicilian in the next hour or two.
Then, when you’re ready to take the dive, sign up for
The Viktorious Kan Sicilian where Neustroev covers nearly
everything White can throw your way after 1.e4 c5.
