I'm a big fan of the QGA. As both John Bartholomew and Chess Explained have commented on their Youtube channels, it is a sound and very underrepresented opening. Therefore I have to give strong thanks to Mineriva for putting together this course on Chessable.
I love this repertoire because it is compact and the variations are heavily commented and illustrated with arrows/diagrams. You can get up and running with the QGA as a practical weapon in a very short period of time. Also a big fan of the fact that a model game is included with each chapter.
The author's recommendation of 3.e4 c5 has been a source controversy and negative reviews. To be very clear: both Mineriva herself and the latest repertoire books acknowledge that the 3.e4 c5 is dead at GM level, a.k.a. essentially refuted. HOWEVER, according to Megabase 2019 Black actually wins more often than White all the way through 2300 FIDE. Therefore while we must acknowledge that the recommendation against 3.e4 is not sound, it should also be said that it is a practical weapon all the way up through FM level.
