Next time you face the Modern Benoni, remember this: it's not played at the elite level anymore. Why? Because of the lines you'll find in this course. Grandmasters know them already, and if you do you too can banish the Modern Benoni to history.
Launch the Three Pawns - it's a Benoni-crusher!
The Three Pawns Attack is a devastating response that crushes this dodgy Black defense which - despite being ditched by GMs - remains ever popular at club level.
All that means is, with this course, there's plenty of wins to vacuum up.
Not only is the Three Pawns the most dangerous line against the Modern Benoni, but it’s also a very easy and fun line to play!
The author has examined all the recent literature and video courses that recommend the Modern Benoni for Black and found ways to counter them.
Among his source material are:
GM Repertoire: The Modern Benoni by GM Marian Petrov,
Reloaded Weapons in the Benoni by GM Milos Pavlovic,
Opening Repertoire: The Modern Benoni by FM John Doknjas and FM Carl Boor's

The lines recommended put Black under considerable pressure and are the reason, the author believes, the Modern Benoni is not played at the top level.
This line is so dangerous that some Black players use the move order 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 and only enter the Modern Benoni after 3.Nf3.
Recently White has favoured Taimanov's plan of 7. f4 and 8. Bb5+ against which I have not had the youthful enthusiasm to defend for some five years. These days I only play the Benoni after 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nf3 and now 3...c5, which cuts out this and other worrying plans.
