🏆 Shortlisted for Best Tactics Course of 2021 🏆
Everybody blunders
From amateurs to World Champions, no one is safe. And is there a feeling in chess worse than blundering?
You study your theory, smash your tactics, and recite your endgames. Still, that one howler you've got assigned for every game is giving you only zeros in your scoresheet.
Spoiling a hard-fought winning position can leave you sleepless for weeks and in extreme cases, end a chess career altogether.
Such a delicate matter and somehow there is so little material available to help overcome it.
That's the gap Benedictine aims to fill with his latest course.
If there's no avoiding them, reduce them!
Benedictine is the successful community author behind the popular
Visualise series,
the Knight Fork Trainer and
Common Chess Patterns, among others.
For Blunders Busters 1 he has compiled a set of 100 positions where you're tasked with finding the only move that doesn't lose. You'll need to make your way to survival in seemingly unavoidable mating attacks.
After you finish those, take the Blunders test where you'll be faced with tactical threats and mates-in-1 alike. Your job is to determine which is which and more importantly, to avoid them!
When you're done with this course, no doubt your relationship with blunders will be different... more distant. Then you'll have become a Blunder Buster.
Spot those blunders, win your winning games!
