More than a year has passed since we expanded our support for other languages (read about our Spanish launch here), and a lot has changed since. But with your unwavering support, combined with our commitment to delivering the best online chess training experience possible…

We take another step in the right direction with our German launch!

Nothing beats watching and learning about chess in your own language. With our latest milestone, training with Chessable just got smoother for our German-speaking friends.

Rest assured we’ll bring you more German-language goodies in the coming weeks. Which is why you should subscribe to our German newsletter.

Here’s how:

  • First, log in to your account, and click on your profile picture.
  • Next, click on “Settings.”
  • Go to the “Subscription” tab on the next page.
  • Under “Newsletter Settings,” check “Send me the Chessable newsletter via email.” Then, under “Languages,” check “German.”
  • And finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and save your settings.

Converting your Chessable account to German is also ABC-easy:

  • While still on your settings page, switch to the “Profile” tab.
  • Under “Choose Your Language,” select “Deutsch.”
  • Save your settings, and that’s it.

PLUS, to make sure you have enough Chessable content to dig into, we’ve prepared German-exclusive courses, and converted some of your favorite titles into German, too.

Here’s A Sneak Peek

100 Repertoires: O’Kelly-Sizilianisch

IM Christof Sielecki and Michael Gorny give you a complete and combative Sicilian you can learn in less than 100 lines. The O’Kelly not only disarms the challenging Open variation (3.d4). It also cuts down your opening study to a minimum and gives you plenty of dynamic play typical of 1.e4 c5.

Elementare Schachstrategie

Let the German female number one guide you move-by-move to a superior position. IM Elisabeth Pähtz’s first ever Chessable course shows you the fundamentals of chess strategy — so you can chart a winning plan even in unfamiliar positions.

Braun’s Evans-Gambit

Rock the Giuoco Piano with IM Christian Braun’s Evans Gambit. This rip-roaring 19th century opening has never been refuted… leads to exciting positions where you call the shots… and carries high KO potential especially at the club level.

But Wait, There’s More!

What’s a launch without a sale!? Starting today, we’re offering up to 50% discount on all of our German-language courses. But you must hurry because these money-saving deals will disappear on February 7, 17:00:00 UTC.

So head over to the shop now and grab a title or two, even while you’re still thinking about it. Rest assured you will not risk even a penny, because you’re covered by our 100% satisfaction, 30-day money back guarantee.

Thank you for making this possible, Chessabler. Count on us to return the favor with many more improvements and features your chess will love.

For now, let’s enjoy the German launch!
