Announcing Two New Features: Dashboard Folders and Random Review

2 New Features on Chessable
Table of Contents

We’re always striving to make Chessable the best chess training platform it can be. And if you’ve been keeping an eye out, you may have noticed we recently released two new features: Dashboard Folders and Random Review. But what exactly are they, and how can you use them?

Dashboard Folders are something that many members have requested for a long time. They’re an easy way to organize your Chessable courses into folders. Over time, your dashboard can get a little cluttered with all the courses you’ve collected, especially if you try out a lot of Short & Sweet courses (or if you like to create your own)!

To use Dashboard Folders, just head to your dashboard and hit this button to create a folder.

Then give your folder a memorable name.

Then all that’s left to do is start organizing your courses. You can do this easily by clicking on the 3 dots on any course and clicking “Add to folder.” This should make it much easier to find the right course at the right time.

We’ve also added a new option for PRO members in MoveTrainer: Random Review. You can find this setting under the Course Settings panel on the right-hand side of any Chapters page in your courses.

You can choose to study by random variations or entirely random moves, which should spice up your training and break up those long sessions with a little more fun and challenge. If you find yourself getting bored with repeating the same lines, this is a great option to keep your brain engaged and alert, as you’ll be looking at moves and solving problems in an unpredictable way.

We’re always working hard to bring new features to Chessable – let us know what you think of these new features by tweeting at us or posting on the Chessable forums.
