Anna Sargsyan is the focus of Malcolm Pein’s Daily Telegraph column for today.

Hopefully we shall see more of her attacking skill in action soon.

Malcolm Pein on…Anna Sargsyan

Anna Sargsyan is the great hope of Armenian women’s chess. I predict she will soon become the country’s strongest female player. At the 22nd European Team Chess Championship in 2019

in Batumi, Sargsyan took the individual gold medal on board five with a score of +6 =2 -0.

Sargsyan has great attacking instincts and despatched a 2500+ GM in style in this game from the recent Armenian Higher League.
