FIDE Master Peter Giannatos is a chess organizer, instructor, and author from the United States.
As the founder of one the most prominent chess clubs and schools in America, the Charlotte Chess Center, FM Giannatos knows what it takes to succeed in chess. In fact, the ambitious Pennsylvania native improved over 100 Elo points in one year to make his FIDE Master title at the ‘late age’ of 26…while running a start-up business, no less!
Having trained with some of the most renowned grandmasters in America, FM Giannatos provides top quality chess education at the Charlotte Chess Center to beginners and advanced players alike. In addition to running the center and conducting lessons there, he has been a prolific organizer of tournaments in the US, including GM-norm round robin events.
