So you have what it takes to be great at chess... yet you're not sure how to unleash your full potential?
If so, then FIDE Master Christoph Kuberczyk could be the perfect mentor for you!
Kuberczyk's rating hovered within the 2000-2150 Elo range as a young adult. And while his rating was still impressive, he was still a long way off from an international title.
However, everything started to change around 2016 to 2017, when Kuberczyk took the royal game more seriously. He hunkered down and meticulously worked on his chess, while studying business informatics in college.
Juggling studies with one's passion for the 64 squares has never been easy. Yet after only 3 years of focused training, Kuberczyk finally earned the FM title in 2019 — and reached his peak rating of 2350 FIDE a few months later.
But perhaps the best part of all:
Kuberczyk is always happy to pass on his knowledge.
In fact, he has been a trainer for chess clubs and the Hamburg youth squad since his teenage years. He also loves sharing his favorite training methods with newcomers, as well as adults who're rediscovering their passion for chess.
Kuberczyk became part of the Chessable family in 2021 as a publishing manager. And since then, he's learned every trick there is on five-star course creation. But don't take our word for it.
