If you're looking to improve your chess understanding and take giant leaps in your results, then International Master Andras Toth is going to become your favorite Chessable author.
Andras is a streamer, Youtuber, and a well-known coach based in Australia. He specializes in adult improvement, as his online content often shows. However, he has coached several Australian Junior Champions -some going from under 2000 to IM during their collaboration-. Being awarded coach of the year in Australia for 2007, he captained Australia's ladies team to the 2008 Dresden Chess Olympiad.
As a player, he was a two-time junior Champion of his native Hungary and a pupil of the legendary coach, IM Lazlo Hazai, who was instrumental to the Polgar sisters' chess development. Andras pays enormous tribute to him for influencing his love for chess, literature and helping others improve through his coaching.
In mid-2020, students from all levels universally acclaimed his Chess Principles Reloaded trilogy, his first work with Chessable. The courses focus on the importance of essential chess principles like development, king safety, and the centaaaaah...
Later in 2021, he coauthored Master your Chess with Judit Polgar, with Judit herself, the greatest-ever female player. The series so far has three parts, focusing on attacking, strategy, and the study of the phases of the game.
Later in November, he teamed up with another Chessable Powerhouse, Community Author CraftyRaf to do the video presentation of the first part of a trilogy on openings traps and blunders.
